Monogramed Apothecary Jar

        Homemade Apothcary Jar with vinyl monogram using

   the Cricut cartridge.

Isnt this soooo pretty? Apothecary jars are all the rage,I made this jar with pieces and

parts from my local Hobby Lobby.

I used Satin black spray paint and sprayed everything that wasnt

already black, then gave it a coat of spray satin varnish.

I used the Cricut cartridge "Tie the Knot", and

I just made another one using my SCAL and a font I found on

the internet.

Here are some pictures of the steps to make one of these..

I added a wooden disk under the jar to make it look

more chunky. There are many on pinterest and the internet

that do not have this step. I think it gives it more

substance to add this piece.

                                       The lid of the jar comes with a siver lid-I just painted it also
                                                and added another wooden disk and then the finial.

EASTER BUNNY CARD-made with the cricut!

Bunny Card
Here is an Easter card I made using my Cricut and the Art Philosophy
Cartridge. I saw one similar that used punches, And I dont remember where to give credit..Because I so WOULD! But this uses the CRICUT.
Lets start...
I first cut out a hole to the card front at 1 3/4" with the cricut and added Brown Bag ink around the edges of the hole, Then I added the bunny bottom and face using a 1 3/4" circle. Attach the body to the INSIDE of the card and then add the head to the front using dimensionals pop dots... Isn't he Cuuuute??

Use a marker for the whisker details, and

the feet pads. Add dimensional pop dots to the feet.

All product used are Close to My Heart

Recipe:

Paper: Craft, Daisy white

Ink: HollyHock, Black, Brown Bag

Cutting sizes: Body 1 3/4" circle,Head 1 3/4" (ornament base trimmed), ears & feet 3/4" md oval, inside ears &feet 1/2" md oval

Cheeks 3/4" circle, Tail 3/4" Scallop circle x2, nose 1/2" triangle, or heart.

Accessories: Liquid Applique (for the fluffy tail)

and Licorice opaques gems for the eyes,

Pink Button

Banner cut at 2 1/2" for sentiment

Border was made with a ruler and a marker, then freehand the

squiggles. Love that effect!

Bunny Basket with the CRICUT

This adorable Bunny Basket/Box can be made easily with the Art Philosophy
Cricut cartridge. This little cutie is the same face used on the bunny card
and the Bunny Pillow box posted earlier. A fellow CTMH consultant, Emmy Rackley modified it from the pillow box, and added it to the purse box, Wonderful! Fill it up with some candy and sweets, it's sure to be a hit!

Easy St Patty's Project

Here is my little contribution to St Patricks Day..A lucky Charm!
Well, its a wand, but you can make it into anything you want, even
a card..

Cutting Sizes

Using the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge:

3" Green Scallop Circle (Base)x2

2 1/2" Kraft or Bamboo C/S Circle

2" Orange Scallop circle(Hair)

1 3/4" Blush CS (Face)

1/2" x2 Circles (ears)

3/4" circle (nose)

3/4" Orange (Leaf) (mustache)

1 3/4 Base Cupcake,Green (hat)

2 1/2" banner for sentiment

1/2 x 2" strip rounded for brim, Green

small strip for black hat accent and gold pen for buckle

Licorice Opaques Gems, (eyes)

To make the hat, cut the cupcake out and cut off where the icing

starts. Turn it upside down, and that is the shape for his hat.

Stamp sentiment on banner and use a 3D glue dot to attach to

a bamboo skewer and place the other 3" green circle over the

back covering the stick. Attach ribbon,sentiment,eyes , and button

and you have your lucky charm wand!

Just a Note Card-Clean & Simple

Hello There!  Today I wanted to share another quick and

simple note card I made using my scrap stash.

 

I cut out "NOTE" using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge

and added colored strips of card stock on the back.

The new adhesive backed Silver Shimmer Trim (try saying that fast!)From Close to My Heart adds

just the right sparkly touch.

Easy and quick card!!

Clean & Simple Card

This was possibly one of the quickest and easiest cards I have done

in a while. It's clean and simple isnt it?

Inspiration came from Cristina Kowalczyk at My paper secret.

 

 

I used the Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut out the hearts...

Then backed the hearts with strips of colored CTMH cardstock.

For the sentiments I actually cheated and used a font I had in Microsoft

Word and printed on cardstock and cut in strips. I bumped them

up with some pop dots.

Simple and clean.... And Quick!!
